With the second place of the “Best band” and the first place of “The Best New Comer” from Readers’ Poll of Terrorizer magazine 2010, ChthoniC, the metal monster from the Orient island announces the UK tour with Arch Enemy, Enslaved and Sabbat in late April, 2010.
The tour will start from Wolverhampton on April 27, and end up on April 30 in London, the tour dates are as below:

ChthoniC formed in 1996, and has released five studio albums so far. The band won the Best Band in Taiwan Grammy Award in 2003, and has been invited to play at Fuji Rock Festival in Japan, Ozzfest in America and Wacken Open Air in Germany as well as several tours in N.A, Europe and East Asia. ChthoniC signed with Spinefarm Records in 2009 and released their 5th album “Mirror of Retribution” in last September. The album got good sales and gained many high points of CD reviews from many music magazines and media includes Metal Hammer, Kerrang!!, Terrorizer, Rock Sound, Revolver…etc.
According to the latest Readers’ Poll 2010 of Terrorizer magazine, ChthoniC has been charted as the 2nd of “The Best Band”, the 1st of “The Best New Comer”. Bassist Doris Yeh also got the 2nd place of “The best bass player” and other members got highly points in the individual charts. ChthoniC is also the champion for over 120,000 views in the music category of MyeBook.
Doris Yeh, the bassist and the leader of the band said: “This is the third time for ChthoniC to tour the UK. After the headlining tour in UK last year, we all love the fans here and can’t wait to come back again”. “We are also expecting to re-issue our 4th album Seediq Bale in this year as we’re writing new stuff and hopefully we can go to the studio for our 6th album in next year!”
